Santa Barbara County
Pinot Noir Duvarita
Bright red fruits mingle with earth and spice creating unmistakable “Typicity” the term the French use for “true to varietal character”. The texture of this wine is astounding with a silky presence from front to back. The wine remains fresh and vibrant long into the finish. This truly unique little vineyard is the coolest site we work with. It is virtually a sand dune just west of the most westerly boundary of the Santa Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County. The proximity to the Pacific and the sandy soils deliver unbelievably pretty wines that are incredibly aromatic with stunning texture and depth. Bottled unfined and unfiltered after 18 months in barrel, this wine is gorgeous now and will age beautifully over the next decade.
