Thank you for visiting Torrin. Meaning "of the hills", Torrin Vineyard is aptly located in the hills of the Santa Lucias west of Paso Robles in an area commonly referred to as the Templeton Gap. Originally part of the Booker Vineyard, planted by Eric Jensen and Justin Smith, Torrin is landlocked between two of Paso Robles' benchmarks, L'Aventure and Booker Vineyards. Following the 2005 harvest, winemaker Scott Hawley and his family purchased the thirty acre parcel and eagerly joined their neighbors in the pursuit of producing truly unique and expressive wines. With ten acres planted on rugged hillsides of high lime calcareous shale and siliceous shale we are located in one of California's wine growing sweet spots. The vineyard is planted to multiple clones of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre with small blocks of Tannat, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
